I am a qualified Social Worker with over twenty years’ experience working with Children, Young People & their families. I have worked in a variety of settings which have included statutory; I have worked independently as an Independent Assessor for potential foster carers as well as within residential children homes and secure units. I wish to use the wealth of experience I possesses to empower; support and guide all you father’s out there to be a fundamental part of your child or children’s life.
I am a mother of 2, and this is one of the main reasons why I relished the opportunity to be part of this initiative as I know first-hand the impact an absentee father can have on a child’s life. I approach this initiative with the view that if I can support at least one father to establish or restore a relationship with his child or children then I have succeeded in my goal.

I am a qualified Teacher with over fifteen years experiences working in the business arena, in addition to over five years in a successful girls Grammar school working with young people aged 12-18 and their parents. I am also a Step-father to two girls, and have mentored men in various senior roles within the church. In all my roles, especially as a teacher and step-father I have first-hand experience of the importance of the role men and fathers have in the development and nurturing of children.
I would like to use this experience to help support and guide fathers in the community to realise their potential as great moulders of the present and future generations

I am a consultant with three years of experience in immigration, family and employment law. As an advocate of good parenting, I know that children need security and predictability and can only get this when their parents (mother and father) responds consistently to their cries and needs as well as their smiles. A child with both parents is more likely to benefit immensely from increased richness of care. As a father myself, I know that fathers play a very unique and crucial role in guiding, supporting and nurturing children’s developments.
I am happy to offer services to Fatherhood Community Service (FCS) as a consultant and agree to any FCS Guidance for lay advisors and any protocols in relation to their conduct as a member and volunteer. I know that this work is guided by strict codes of conduct and practice guidance and will as much as possible try to confine my services within the limits of this Practice Guidance.
